My Story
I have over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, including competing in several different strength sports to a high level.
I have represented NZ in powerlifting 4x, competed in bodybuilding and strongman competitions with success.
I have transformed my own body and helped many others do the same. I have produced a number of athletes to compete at a national level and get their dream physiques.
In 2018 I opened my own gym in the beautiful Bay of Islands and have had the privilege of helping hundreds of men and woman get stronger, lose fat, build muscle and perform at the highest level.
My fitness journey began in 2015 after suffering from my own battles with eating disorders and body image.
I started lifting weights at a small local gym and fell in love with the process. I started to heal my relationship with my body, and began to understand the importance of fuelling my body for performance and health. I started to focus on what my body could do rather than what it looked like. I fell in love with the feeling of being a strong, confident woman!
In 2016 I entered my first powerlifting competition and I was hooked! I had never experienced anything like it and I fell in love with everything about the sport. I also began to study and attained a certificate in advanced personal training, certificate in mental health and addictions, Bachelors degree in Social work and qualified as a level one strength and conditioning coach.
I went on to represent NZ 4x in powerlifting winning multiple medals and travelling the world.
In 2018 I opened my own gym which allowed me to continue following my passion to help others get fitter, stronger, healthier and more confident.
I now spend most of my time running the gym with our great team of trainers, and have transitioned most of my coaching online so that I am able to help as many people as possible.
Helping others is my passion!
